At DOERS NOT VIEWERS, we strive to provide our communities with options to do and not view, by giving them the basic tools and knowledge on how to stop blood loss in an emergency event when EMS isn't on the scene. "WE HAVE TO BE OUR OWN FIRST RESPONDER". It is our desire to bring awareness and restore empathy for human life through educational resources that build postive community interactions and relationships. Our aim is to assist in breaking the cycle of hatred and violence that plague our communities and replace them with compassion to give our children a chance for a better future.      

Founded, January 4, 2023, by my son, Joshua Emanuel Chisolm, "DOERS NOT VIEWERS" was established in response to a pivotal event in the  urban part of  Philadelphia, Pa.  After witnessing a drive-by shooting, Joshua displayed remarkable courage and compassion by immediately rushing to the victim's aid, transporting him to the emergency room, which ultimately saved his life.  This profound experience  inspired the creation of the organization.

Tragically, Joshua's life was cut short on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at the young age of 32 years old by a senseless act of gun violence. Unfortunately, there was no one there to save Him...  It is our mission to honor his legacy by continuing the work of saving lives and fostering safer communities.
